I went to order a citron cooler which was a vodka lemonade drink waiter said oh I don’t think that’s on the menu did you pull the ga menu online I told him no specifically clicked Orlando. Waiter came told us the alcohol menus were outdated and he hadn’t had any drinks on it and informed me that the combo promotion ended at 6 which I did not see advertised on the site. The 4 of us got there about 830 pm on Friday light crowd maybe one other group was eating. So I was sold wanted to try it out found food and drink that worked and thought the combo would be a good deal. Noticed advertisements for a free $10 dollar game card or free xd game if you bought one of their combos. Researched the menu making sure there’d be something my fiance would like. I usually go to dave and busters but have been wanting to give Andretti’s a try with it being new and offering a few different games. Shame the circuit isn’t bigger and better. They’re all electric, very clean and very well presented. The karts themselves look very nice bits of kit. The circuit appears to be designed using short straights with lots 180degree turns, doesn’t look very entertaining at all. Off we went to the viewing area but there were no karts on the circuit at all. Turns out there are 3 circuits - a VERY small one for juniors consisting of maybe 3 turns, track 2 is a bit bigger with a lap time of around 45seconds but from the viewing area we could only see around 10seconds of the lap Track 3 is the biggest and we were directed up to the Sky bar where there is a full view of the track. The karting area is at the far end of the building. I asked a staff member where is the Kart circuit and he said over the back behind the Cafe/restaurant. When we entered the building we were a bit confused because we could only see electronic games machines, sit on simulators, push the penny games, shooting simulator games, and a bowling alley. on outdoor circuits and had some good fun on some indoor circuits too so I was expecting a circuit which bears the name of a motor racing legend to be something special The building is enormous so we were expecting to see a pretty special circuit layout inside.
I am/was a keen kart racer back in the 90’s with my own Kart.
We’d heard about this new Andretti indoor Kart circuit on Ini resale’s so today we decided to go take a look and see just how good this circuit is.
